On Saturday March 27 is celebrated " Earth Hour 2010 "run by the organization WWF.Cada year, WWF performs "Earth Hour" and this year we have broken world records in the blackout. Thousands of cities around the world joined this action to vindicate climate change. The blackout led the WWF was joined by many landmark buildings, leaving the dark from 20:30 to 21:30. In addition, many institutions and companies also joined this initiative off the lights in their offices. In Zaragoza, the lights of Pilar, the palace of the AljaferĂa, those in the auditorium of the University and those of several companies as TUZSA or CAI.
This initiative shows that people are still struggling and increasingly support to achieve what could not be at the Copenhagen Summit. Although this performance demonstrated the commitment of many countries, more than 100, climate change was not the case at the summit, where countries are moved more by their economic interests than by the Earth.
People may think that nothing will happen, but in fact is already happening. More and more the Earth warms, fewer forests that produce oxygen while each turn emits more CO2 into the atmosphere, the oceans are worse care, and this is only a part of everything that happens. So people must realize that something is happening that should be avoided before it is too late.
Because who wants to live in a desert country, where you can not see the sun through a cloud of pollution (as in China), where the seas are polluted and we can not bathe at sea, and where trees are just and all is full of brick?
I and hopefully not you, bloggers, either.
